Photography & Cinematography Course in Hooghly

Learn photography near Hooghly

Most people who struggle with photography don't lack talent; they lack structured practice and honest feedback. Our courses give you both: a clear syllabus, hands-on studio and outdoor sessions, and mentors who review your work.

The Hooghly Imambara, with its clock tower on the riverbank, is one of the district's best-known architectural landmarks.

Hooghly district lines the west bank of the river opposite our Ichhapur and Belgharia centres. Its old European towns — Danish Serampore, French Chandannagar, Dutch Chinsurah and Portuguese Bandel — terracotta temples, handloom villages and festivals such as Chandannagar's Jagaddhatri Puja make it one of the richest districts in Bengal for photographers.

This page is for students from Hooghly, including Hugli, and nearby areas of Hooghly.

How to reach our Ichhapur campus from Hooghly

The riverside towns from Serampore to Bandel face our Ichhapur centre across the Hooghly. Ferries link these towns to the Barrackpore–Naihati side, and the Bandel–Naihati line crosses the river by the Jubilee Bridge; Ichapur station is a short ride down the line from Naihati.
